In the West, slaughterhouses are maintained without restriction, and therefore every fifth or tenth year there is a big war in which countless people are slaughtered even more cruelly than the animals. Sometimes during war, soldiers keep their enemies in concentration camps and kill them in very cruel ways.  Everything happens for a reason!

It is very easy to understand that a vegetarian diet brings mercy, kindness and compassion to the living entity that switches from meat eating to a simple diet of rice and beans or veggies and fruits!

we know that there are a lot of people that will complain excessively about just eating rice and beans and they would even say that they are starving but don't let that discourage you and do your best to make your diet as compassionate as possible! 

We all make mistakes and we can change our mind about anything at any point! Is not easy to become an extremely beautiful vegetarian overnight! Meat eating is the leading cause of Alzheimer's disease ask yourself during your meditations how can this be possible? and the truth will be revealed to you!

Continuing to participate in the merciless slaughter of our brothers and sisters that have been born in the bodies of lower animals such as cows and bulls and continuing to support  and allow the on going ruthless torture and killing of women and children will continue to bring really bad reactions to the living entity even if we succeed at destroying this planet our souls are eternal and we will always be held accountable for our choices!

Let us answer your question:

While we would hate to make a choice between what life is more important than the other like say for instance would the life of a cow be more precious than the life of a woman! The answer is the life of the Woman would be more important but this does not mean that you have to kill or eat a cow.

There will never be a good reason for a human being to kill his own brother and sister in order to eat his or her flesh in order to survive! That kind of thinking does not make sense! No one in the right mind would chose to attach themselves to suffering and that is exactly what meat eating is 'suffering'.  

This world was created so that we can purify ourselves and return to our eternal kingdom, there are many ways of purifying ourselves. fasting is one of them, chanting the Maha Mantra purifies the human being, prayer purifies but we cannot pray and be harmful to others and expect to  be purified, that does not make sense! being an honorable virtuous soldier purifies,  being a good husband purifies, being a good wife purifies,  being a good parent purifies, being a good son or daughter purifies,  working at a job purifies a human being, meat eating does not purify a human being.  

Thinking for one moment that global peace can be achieved and that this civilization can elevate into a more intelligent race capable of traveling to other galaxies  while consuming beef or any kind of flesh is absolutely out of touch with reality. 

Cows produce milk, just a good cup of milk can give all the nutrition that human being needs.

Let your ambitions be greater than just a chunk of meat on a plate!
